Welcome to YingHua International School: English-Chinese Immersion School of Princeton!
YHIS is the only not-for-profit, independent school in the greater Princeton area that offers English-Chinese dual language education with an internationally-focused, inquiry-based curriculum. It is also an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School Primary Years Program.
Founded in 2007, YingHua International School is a full-time, independent school for Early Learning (18 months) through 8th grade. From the earliest grade, students are taught a full early learning, pre-school, pre-kindergarten, elementary, and middle school program in Mandarin Chinese by highly-qualified, caring teachers. YHIS’ curriculum meets NJ Core Curriculum Standards of all subject areas and is accredited by the MSA-CESS. Students at YingHua International School are highly proficient at an academic-level in both English and Chinese and are well-prepared for global leadership. In additional, they experience the many benefits of bilingual education that can only be gained through a truly language-immersive environment.
In addition, YHIS also offers Chinese immersion summer camp and afterschool Chinese tutoring at its Kingston campus.
YHIS’ mission is to enable academic excellence and prepare students for a compassionate, effective and ethical global citizenship by facilitating English and Chinese language acquisition and instilling a passion for lifelong learning. YHIS’s programs do not require prior Chinese knowledge.
